Best of British luxury day Excursion
A Great British Breakfast at the Great Danes Hotel
Afternoon Tea on board
the Belmond British Pullman Train
Step on board the Belmond British Pullman, sister train to the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express, and experience the excitement of luxury train travel. An indulgent treat to treasure
After a later than usual start, our coach will take us to The Great Danes Hotel where we will enjoy a Best of British Breakfast. A plated British breakfast will be served to us at our tables and there will also be a selection of pastries, fruit and fruit juices as well as tea or coffee.
We rejoin our coach to travel to London to arrive in plenty of time to soak up the atmosphere at Victoria Station before we board our luxury train ready for a 15.30 departure.
Step back in time to the glamorous 1920s as you board the famous Belmond British Pullman vintage train and enjoy a welcoming glass of English sparkling wine.
Then delight in the quintessentially British experience of afternoon tea as the train takes us on a round-trip through Britain’s beautiful countryside. [The route is not determined until nearer the time]
An indulgent afternoon tea will be served in your beautiful wood-panelled carriage, which boasts intricate marquetry and authentic art deco features. Your table is set with crisp white linen, sparkling glassware and bespoke china—ready for your elegant repast. A sumptuous selection of savouries, sandwiches, cakes, fancies and scones is served. Liveried stewards are on hand to take care of your every need. Relax, unwind and admire the changing views through your picture window. Stretch your legs and stroll through the train to admire the magnificent design details that make each carriage unique.
The train arrives back at Victoria at 18.15 and our coach will be ready to take us home.
Treat yourself to this lovely day out. A small deposit will secure your place – payment details and booking form enclosed
