Whole Day Excursion to Guildford

Thursday 31st October 2019

A whole day excursion to Guildford

The Classic Spring Theatre Company presents

Oscar Wilde’s

Starring Liza Goddard

Yvonne Arnaud Theatre 2.30pm

An earnest young American woman, a louche English lord, and an innocent young chap join a house party of fin de siecle fools and grotesques. Nearby, lives a woman cradling a long buried secret. In A Woman of No Importance, Oscar Wilde’s marriage of glittering wit and Ibsenite drama created a vivid new theatrical voice.

Directed by Dominic Dromgoole, A Woman of No Importance was the first production in Classic Spring’s celebrated Wilde season in the West End, and is the first to tour the UK.

Starring the much loved television and theatre star, Liza Goddard (Doctor Who and Bergerac) it is sure to provoke laughter and tears, wherever it goes.

"Wonderfully moving... Sublimely funny"                   “Effortless wit, wisdom and waspishness”
THE INDEPENDENT                                                                 THE TIMES

Liza Goddard is one of the UK’s favourite actresses. Her extensive stage credits include Lady Windermere's Fan, An ideal Husband and Alan Ayckbourn’s Communicating Doors and Season’s Greetings. Her television work includes cult classics Doctor Who and Bergerac.

Excursion Price: £65.50
