Sunday 15th December 2019

     Grand Christmas Classics

With the renowned Philharmonia Orchestra and the Bach Choir

Conductor: David Hill

Royal Festival Hall 3.00pm

The Festival Hall and the Southbank area are lovely to visit around Christmastime and very convenient for us on the coach. We will be dropped off and picked up very close to the Festival Hall and you will have free time before the concert to explore and find something to eat. [Lunch information below]  If you haven’t visited the Festival Hall before it is a very impressive and popular concert venue.

Opened in 1951 as part of the Festival of Britain, the Grade I listed Hall is one of the world’s leading performance venues. Located on the banks of the River Thames it is at the heart of the Southbank Centre. As well as a 2,700 capacity auditorium, the Royal Festival Hall is also where you'll find The Clore Ballroom, National Poetry Library, Southbank Centre Shop, Riverside Terrace Cafe, Central Bar and Skylon restaurant.  Short breaks for 2020
